Cotton/lycra double knit, plain gray with small square black dots on the face, reverses to a heather black/gray on the back so you could use both sides. Very nice quality, light-mid weight, will be a pleasure to wear and sew, no rolling at the cut edge. Crosswise stretch. Pre treat by machine wash, toss in the dryer. After sewing, machine wash gentle and air dry. Pattern suggestions:
A great basic T is Katherine Tilton's
Vogue 8793 You could use the lovely collar with or without the zipper trim, or substitute a plain band or twisted cowl at the neckline.
Vogue 1261 is another good choice...I've been wanting to make this great basic but not boring tunic T too.
Vogue 8636t is one of my favorite ‘go-to’ t-shirt knit top patterns. Quick and easy to make, I sometimes change the collar band, lowering the front neck edge and replacing the shaped neck band pattern pieces included in the pattern with a plain t-shirt band. I’ve even made this as a cardigan.
