Lava Knit detail

Lovely quality in an upscale take on a textured knit. Reads as pure black, but actually is a mix of slightly different blacks which makes the texture more interesting and subtle. The weight is right for a top, T, tunic, dress or skirt...could even make soft pants in this fabric. Crosswise stretch, soft hand, fluid drape. FEELS good to the touch. The woven/knitted in tucks have a nap, are constructed to lie in one direction so cut the pattern pieces accordingly. Pre-treat by tossing in the washer/gentle, dryer/gentle. After sewing, hand launder or machine wash gentle and air dry.
