Raisin Italian Linen Blend
This is one of those wonderful but hard to define fabrics. From an Italian mill, it mimics a silk linen: has a gorgeous drape, slight gleam and is a deep color saturated warm toned raisin/cordovan rich brown burgundy. I suspect a blend. Maybe linen/rayon/? A burn test reveals no poly.. The weight, drape and smooth finish are perfect for a jacket, coat, vest or narrow pant. Might be vintage, but is utterly modern. Shirt V1215 by Chado Ralph Rucci would be lovely in this fabric which has the light texture of silk linen.
