Denver Blue Stretch Cotton Subtle cool toned dusty off shade of blue...would make great pants!
A collection of stretch cotton blend wovens that are like the fabrics I see used in expensive RTW pants (think Eileen Fisher and Oska...retailing for $200-300). Silky, drapey, fluid, just the right weight for warm weather pants or skirts, shirts, dresses, but REALLY I am very excited about this collection of fabric for warm weather pants. Great neutral colors. 2 1/2 yards is the ballpark amount to buy for an average sized woman for a long pant. Adjust for your style and height. Nylon adds the silky smooth appealing feel, lycra adds the drape, cotton makes the fabric breathe....a magical combo. I am so happy to see more nylon blends as I have been seeing these fabrics used in upper end RTW and coveting them.
Pretreat by tossing in the washer/dryer. After sewing, machine wash gentle and air dry. Black is the exception, do NOT ever put black in the dryer, machine wash gentle and air dry.
