Inky Navy Linen
Dark navy, the color more to the blue green side than the blue purple side of the color spectrum. A really lovely piece. Supple drape with a lovely smooth hand. I have a weakness for linen, and sort through literally thousands of bolts to choose the best ones.

This weight is perfect for my shirt pattern, Vogue 8709, though you could use it for pants, jacket or dresses too.

I pre-shrink linen by tossing in the washer on gentle and air dry. (You CAN toss it in the drier, but I test a small piece before tossing the entire yardage in the drier as every piece is different). Once the garment is made, wash on gentle so there is plenty of water in the garment then hang the wet garment on a shaped hanger, tug on the seams and hems to smooth and air dry. Often after this bit of fussing, pressing is optional, or only a touch up is needed.
