Charcoal Herringbone Stretch Cotton from J. Crew - detail From J. Crew, just the kind of summer pant fabric I have searched for. Last summer I paid nearly $200 for a pair of Eileen Fisher pants in a similar fabric and nearly wore them out. I bought every color and texture in this fabric collection available. Only 2 in this lovely herringbone.
DARK charcoal gray, almost but not quite black.
Great quality, silky smooth texture, great drape, dry hand, feels fabulous. Crosswise stretch. Make your own version(s) of the $200 summer pant (or skirt, or shorts or...). Takes 2 1/2 yards for basic pants.
